  3. The first issue concerns how to determine X, the estimated total cost. In this setting we will call this the 窶彡ontingency reference窶. DynRisk offers three different options for calculating this:

  6.     窶｢ Mean value
  7.     窶｢ 50/50-value

  9. The 窶廝ase value窶 is the value of the total cost if all uncertainty is neglected. The 窶廴ean value窶 is obtained by calculating the mean of all the simulation values. The 窶œ50/50-value窶 is the same as the median of the simulation values.
